Robert is a professional wedding and portraits photographer who from a very young age had always had a keen interest in photography, after watching his father process old film in his darkroom at the family home, and learning from him the joys of photography.

Roberts career took a giant leap from working as a tool hire manager after he had an offer to work for a local media group photographing celebrities such as the likes of Mariah Carey, Denise Welsh and coverage of the 2011 X Factor, to name just a few. It was at this time Robert decided to fulfil his ambitions by completing his photography diploma, leave his previous management job role behind him and move full time into a profession he was 100% passionate about.

In 2012 Robert set up his own limited company RP Photography By Design and has never looked back. Some of Robert’s work was noticed by Olympus UK, this progressed onto him very proudly becoming one of Olympus’ Ambassadors. Along with Robert’s main area of photography, he also runs several workshops focusing on Olympus cameras, workshops ranging from Urban, boudoir to streetwalks.
