GATSBY STRIKES BACK!
Before hopping aboard a plane I spent two days at Manchester’s jaw-dropping Victoria Baths, where some fellow photographers joined me in one of my very favourite OLYMPUS BIG Shoot Experiences to date. Working on the theme of ‘The Ages of Elegance’, we held two commercial-scale super shoots – one based on Great Gatsby-inspired opulence, the other a ‘Baroque and Roll’ extravaganza.
Armed with bespoke headpieces from Joanna Strange, a van’s worth of over-sized luxury party balloons, fab makeup and hair by Michael Perks and Katie Burke, and the pièces de résistance, a stunning mini-collection of avant-garde dresses hand-crafted by Lesley herself, we created some spectacular images that I’m very, very proud of.

If you like the look of these images, and you’d like to get involved and shoot this kind of thing side-by-side with us, then click here to book your place on the first Big Shoot of 2016. It’s an absolutely unique opportunity to get some great photography training while shooting some one-of-a-kind pictures for your portfolio.
I hope you enjoy the pictures, and stay tuned for some images from my overseas shooting excursion very soon. Be sure to check out my blog for updates, as well as a complete archive of my previous posts.
