If you missed out on the live session you can now catch up on this fantastic Facebook Live with Olympus Ambassador Gavin Hoey! Even in our digital world, paper is an essential part of our lives. From books to printers, paper is everywhere and that’s exactly what Gavin uses in this Facebook live session.

To create maximum impact, Gavin will be using the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III and the 12-40mm PRO lens. All the images will involve the use of paper in some way but it’s the lighting that takes the photos from uninspiring to amazing. As Gavin explains, taking control of the light is an essential part of the process, but that can be done with something as simple as a torch or a small off camera flash, which is Gavin’s preferred light.

This is a stay at home photo shoot and although Gavin will be using his Olympus kit, the information will be relevant to all photographers, regardless of what camera brand they’re using.
